^ Sheise by Lady Gaga in case you thought I was questionably sane...which would be true.
Well, I guess I should say hi so Heeeeeey Guuurrrl :D
Its week 5 of TY and I'm not even close to halfway finishing my geography project :/ Ms. O'C gave us the project at the start of the year and it's called A Round The World Trip. Basically, its like a make believe trip to two countries from the first world, two from the second and two from the third. So me and my partner Aoife G are going to Germany, Switzerland (hense the title), Poland, Brazil, Colombia and Haiti.
It's my job to do Switzerland first and I'm about 2 pages away from completing it... IT'S TAKING SO LOOOONG! We are given a pretend €12, 000 each for the entire trip.
Did you know that Switzerland is the only country with a square flag?
Anyhoo...

The Goddess Returns
So, I have no idea how long it's been since I blogged last but I'm still up there with the most frequent bloggers of our year ;) ... I'm addicted ok? Deal with it.
I'm going to try my best and keep this post in proper english - this is gonna be a challenge :/
LOLZ (oh no I've already started!)
Moving on from my english mistake above, a lot of things have happened since I blogged last!
We started to practice our dance and theme for our Fun Walk which is next week and so far... its looking pretty AMAZING! Not that I'm bragging or anything...
So yeah the Fun Walk is basically where our whole school walks around the town at the end of Anti-Bullying Week in our school. We used to dress up and stuff so it's not as good as it was but still a bitta buzz and bant ;)
We experience yet another epic Thursday (I think I'm obsessed with a day of the week :/ ). Photography was especially good cause we had to take pictures of a Cookie Monster teddy bear looking drunk. It was hilarious :L
And, the cast for the school musical - "The Sound of Music"- were announced :D
Unsurprisingly I got Maria but I decided to pull out and give Leah a chance cause I'm SUCH a good person...
Ok, that's a lie but I'm proud to say that A LOT of TY's got really big roles so well done everyone :D
Seeing as I have the worst memory of anyone I know, that all I think has happened but sure you never know.
Until we meet again, my love.
what?

So I'm guessing I'm now African or something...
To explain that title : today in Music (*rave*) with Ms. G we learned an African Tribal Song :D and well, in all honesty, we totes rocked it lioke ! :P
The...lyrics?...that me, Fiona, Aoife G and Aoife O'B had to sing went sorta like "A na no ni o la no UM" !
As much as I'd like to be African, I'm pretty sure that after today I have no hope in hell of becoming something other than a pasty white, freckled, irish person.

Na na na na na C'MON!
BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition (yes, I use the full name cause we iz homies) have a blooooooog :D http://btyste.wordpress.com/
I have now gotten to that blog-aholic stage when somebody having a blog means they are my automatic friend so... Sarah + BTYSTE b.f.f.'s <3
And, might I just add, that although BTYSYE may be in my top 16 on Bebo its still A LOT of pressure! Me, Sarah and Shannon are doing our project on Why do onions make you cry and to test popular myths for preventing it. Sounds easy but it is most definitely not. Aaaaaaand the deadline is next Wednesday :O! Dun ... Dun... DUUNN

I HAVEN'T BEEN DISOWNED !
The night before we got our Junior Certificate Results, on Wednesday 14th Septemeber, I honestly thought that my parents would disown me because my results were so atrocious :/ I would have put money on getting bad results but to my surprise I did well! :o I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that sheet of paper which I had dreaded seeing earlier that day. I was absoultely ecstatic!
Overall, my whole year did really well and I'm so proud of everyone :)
I went to the 'Orchard Garden Centre' afterward with my parents and had a deserved lasagne and cookie. While also meeting half my year.
That night most of the year went to 'Time' disco and had a pretty amazing night.
But, I can now happily say... my Junior Certificate has officially ended!

Hills, laser guns, sheep, wellies and a whole lot of mud... best 2 days at Carlingford :)
Just got back from Carlingford, the cutest little town in Co. Louth, and I'm ready to collapse with the tiredness.
I woke up at 6am (so proud of myself) on Monday morning and the bus left at 7. Everyone was absolutely buzzing on the bus :) and we got there at around 9.
After dropping our bags off (filled with a lot of food and tracksuit bottoms) we were giving THE MOST attractive full body suits ever. Then we were divided in 2. Half of us went off to do group activities and the rest went to the forest and played, quite possibly, the most epic game - LASERS. Well, they were actually laser guns and we had these things in our heads which our opponents had to shoot. I honestly took it very seriously and for a second I felt as though I belonged in the army ;). Blues won three times out of four so hard luck reds :P
Then, after a much needed helping of sausages *drool*, chips and beans, the 2 groups switched activities.
Although nothing could live up to the lasers, the group activities were pretty fun :). Except for that trek up to the field that they were being held! They included things like finding our way out of a pitch black maze which was 3 floors and crossing muddy water with 4 planks of wood. It was still fun though! Dinner was a surprisingly tasty spaghetti bolognese :P
When we were staying at Carlingford there was also a guys school from Drogheda and I guess you could say we made...friends? (oooo friiieeeennds)...with them. We spent the night all crammed into the common room together and had ourselves a little sing song :P. There was even a fire lighting! We had to leave the common room at 11.20 though and head to our rooms :(. I was really happy with my room and I really liked the people in it with me :D (we had good auld bant before we went to bed).
Next morning we started off with rock climbing and ab sailing! It was so much fun!! :D It took awhile to get used to it but it really wasn't that hard. There was about 5 different courses up the mountain... if you could even call it that :P I even did one blind folded! Then we did ab sailing and take it from me it's kinda scary walking down a mountain face backwards :/ But I'd do it again in a hearbeat :) Next was orienteering. Lets just say, my legs have never hurt so much! Hill after hill, huge muddy puddles, a confusing map and a path on the mountain which was entirely made up of sheep poo. It took so long but was still good.
When we got back we made a quick trip to Candyford - the sweet shop in the town.
But then it was time to go home and with our bags packed we hopped on the bus and said farewell to 2 pretty eventful days :'(
I don't think any of us will ever forget our Carlingford experience :)

Packing... let the fun begin -_-
Using this fancaaaay countdown timer thing - it is now 1 day and 5h hours until CARLINGFORD! *air punch*
Soooooo anyway I've just started packing and I've already given up :P I need tracksuit bottoms, old shoes, swimming stuff but most importantly... FOOD! Some of the T.Y.'s are gonna meet up in tesco on Sunday night to buy some (well a LOT) of food :). And when I say food I mean absolute junk.
I really should finish packing :/ But I'll be blogging tomorrow night when my excitement level will be way beyond normal.

J'adore la cuisine française!
Tomorrow's French class with Mme. H is going to be ... hmmm... delicious! :P
Everyone in the class is going to be making some sort of french dish. And well, I LOVE FRENCH FOOD!
Me and Niamh D are making Quiche Lorraine, and if I do say so myself, it's amaaaaaazing! ^_^
Even though they're not french, Mme. H said she'd make us Caramel Squares!
Life = complete.
Ooh la la

I have a feeling this is gonna be fuuunnn!
(sorry about the over-excitement...I'm just naturally happy ok?)

To go or not to go? That is the question...
Sam and Cliff from Celbridge Youth Café came into school today to talk about ... well the Youth Café obviously. What else did you think? :L
Which brings me to the question of whether or not go to their 'Free Night'. It sounds kinda good and they said we'd get in for free and that there would be free foooooood...need I say more?
That question will be answered soon enough, until then...

Thursdays...you complete me
Well it's no surprise that I'm in an awfully cheery mood seeing as it's...THURSDAY (Thursday, gotta get down on Thursday). Anyways, my ultimate hero - Mr. Rob Love - started us out with taking pictures of our classmates. It was the epic fail of 2011 (along with my J.C. results) to say the least. Fiona, Emma, Rebekah and myself just didn't seem to possess any photographic talent *sigh*. Awkward picture after awkward picture came out. Well, c'est la vie.
Moving on to another Pilates class filled with burning stomachs, searing legs and broken backs. But I seem to enjoy it strangely :/
Finally, dancing with the legendary Ms. O'R! After 2 weeks, myself and my class could pass as professionals :P
Oh and one more thing : Carlingford is now even closer than it was yesterday! Fancy that...

BEING A HOT DIRECTOR!
Even though I missed out on making a delicious tiramisu in Home Ec :'( today was a "buzz".
Austin Dunne (may I say, quite the legend of a man) came into our school to do a Social Development program with each T.Y. class.
At the beginning we were put into groups and on a huge sheet of paper we had to write out what we wanted to achieve by the end of the day. If I do say so myself, my group's poster was pretty epic ;) Being the utterly witty T.Y.'s we are, our page included things like have a bitta bant and listen to some more Westlife....don't ask. It also featured some VERY artistic drawings!
Then we were separated into pairs and did all these random exercises on conversing with people, body language and listening.
This was followed by a debate on the wackiest topics :P A word to the wise: I'm quite the passionate debater.
Then came the biggest part of the day. Our whole class was divided into 4 different categories based on Hippocrates Theory of the four humours:

Then came the biggest part of the day. Our whole class was divided into 4 different categories based on Hippocrates Theory of the four humours:
- Choleric: it basically means you like to get things done your way and you are competitive, challenging and focused among other things. The colour is red, the animal is a bull and you are a 'hot director' (leader in easier terms)
- Sanguine: this one is if you are bubbly and sociable and like to have a laugh. The colour is yellow, the animal is a cow and you are a 'entertainer'.
- Phlegmatic: if you are calm, collected and like to sort problems out, you fall into this category. Green is the colour, dog is the animal and you are the 'mediator'.
- Melancholic: finally, people who are quiet and like to keep to themselves to themselves are know as melancholic. The colour is blue, the animal is a cat and you would be an 'observer'.
So we were split up into our humours and given a variety of things to do which included making a solution to Santa's low toy stock problem o.O Us bulls made a "logical" and amazing comic strip for our solution.
After,we were again divided up but this time into extroverts and introverts (loud/confident/opinionated and shy/quiet/self-conscious) and we finished of the day with more exercises. The most important being how to shake hands properly... pretty alright in that already :L hehehe
Overall, today was reeeeeaaaally good :D and I honestly now think my class has like proper bonded with each other (waheey!!)
Also, I am proud to be a bull! *whatever sound bulls make*

One week gone already :'(
One week of TY has already been and gone :o it has been pretty hectic so far... getting to know our new classes, being sorted into options and experiencing new things (like 1920's dancing). ;D
This week was definitely a memorable and eventful one! And I'm looking forward to more weeks like it!! :)
Roll on TY!

Thursdays are now officially my favourite day of the week!
First, me and my class became addicted to blogging :o
Then we met the most epic photographer in Ireland... Rob Love! (he even has a epic name) His pictures are fantastic!
Next was pilates :/ take it from me; it's very hard to hold the plank position when you're bursting out laughing :P but it was still fun :)
To finish the day we had our first experience with 1920's dancing ^.^ The talented Ms. O'R taught us the "rock step" and the famous "Charleston"! Unforgettable day to say the least.

Naming of our blogs :/
My class and I have named our blogs kinda strangley :P we had a "bonding" (we had pretty much bonded already) class together and in it had to say a thing that we like which began with the first letter of our name... and well, I love smarties :L
TY BUDDAAY ^.^
Just started TY and after 4 days its already been amazing :) Can't wait for the rest of the year :D
